Life's Twins

We are often faced with life’s unbalanced scales
But we forget too soon that for a reason we were made in TWO’s
Male and female
Two arms
Two legs
Two knees
Two eyes
Two ears
Two lips
Two feet
And even our most intimate parts
One tongue – shielded by two rows of teeth
A woman’s pride – set between two mounds of flesh
A man’s potency – being made a crown over two round heads
Everything around us…
Both beautiful and ugly
Day and night
Good and evil
Sun and moon
Rich and poor
Prodigies and late bloomers
Happiness and sadness
Black and white
So when you are disturbed by the devil,
Never forget there is also a God.
