This is a quick look at some of the musicians who actually
write their music. In Nigeria, we are used to bumping our heads to anything as
long as the beat is catchy or the hook is totally meaningless.
This post is simply a compliment to the artistes who
actually sit to think their tracks through. I was not, and cannot be with all
these artistes when they conceptualise their songs, but like all good things –
you can tell.
Take a look at the list below and please do point out the
ones whose songs are absolutely baseless, without a core and most importantly
the ones that cannot successfully produce lyrics to their songs if asked.
